Block finished, ready to go:)

I'm so glad that I've finished this block before its deadline. I've stitched my name with metallic thread but afterwords I remembered that I had wonderful silk prints with my name. I stitched one of them on the block. Those prints were sent me by dear Sandy, some time ago. I would like to thank her here once again. I've got a chance to use one of them on a special project.

It is a treasure, Rengin. I'm so glad you were feeling well enough to stitch it, too!

Hi Allie,
I'm so glad that my neck is getting better day by day. I was getting worried about the block but I finished it yesterday before the deadline. It is on its way now. Hope Vic will have it when she's back home.
Love,

Love the roses. I see Oyas on the left but are the flowers on the right side, also Oyas? They look very effective.
I like all the work on the block.

Yes, they are also oyas on the right side. They are flat type oya that I've tried to use first time. I was hesitant to use them at the begining but, I must admit that their application was much more easy than the other types...I also liked the outcome. The color harmony of the background and oyas was so nice. This block is now on the way, going to the USA.
