A special project

I'm so glad that I started to stitch yesterday, after a long time. But, I decided to rest today for not overwhelming for my neck. I'll continue to embellish it tomorrow.
I volunteered to make a block for a CQ'er friend as part of a comforting quilt. It had to be 10x10", cream, yellow, bronze and mauve colors and include a picture of a cherub or angel.
I couldn't stop to add some embellishments last night:)) I've already added bronze color beaded lace trim at the top of the bottom patch. It is a special kind of oya is made with crochet needle. And added some other flat oya flowers on the bronze color patch.
I'll share its progress....

The block looks beautiful Rengin! Those oya flowers are to die for, sooo beautiful! I so much miss picking up a needle. The lace and flowers on this block are very inspiring!
