Dinkelsbuhl, Germany

The Romantic Road (Romantische Strasse)is an amazing journey starting from Wurzburg thru Fussen in the southern Germany. All those wonderful historical places are worth to visit. I wish we could stay longer to visit each place on the mentioned long road. We paid a small visit to Dinkelsbuhl on our way to Rothenburg. This lovely town lies in the Wornitz Valley, it is also Sister of Rottenburg. The town's preserved walls and incredible patrician houses are so nice that I loved. But, so sad that the traffic negatively effects the amazing atmosphere of this historical town of the 15th century.

we have often stayed at Fussen and Heidleberg, using both places as overnight or short breaks on our way to and from other places. I think the style of buildings and the painted buildings are just wonderful.

Hello Rengin, I loved looking at the photos of your travels in Europe. They brought back wonderful memories for me of the time when I lived in Germany. Hugs Judy
