A small crocheted basket

Sometime ago one of my CQ'er buddy sent me a vintage crochet magazine, published in 1979. I'm so grateful for her thoughtfulness to send me a special copy with full of very nice crochet patterns. I must admit that I didn't have any idea about Elisabeth Hiddleson before. I've just tried this little basket motif to use on my QC work. It is so easy, I just completed in a hour and I liked the outcome:))
To try crocheted new goodies seems a good idea in these hot days...
Today,Istanbul is so hot...I'm looking forward to have cool, live able days...

Rengin I love your work, it is beautiful. I am intrigued by the crochet looking items you add to some of your work may I ask how you do these? And some of your flowers seem to be stump work? is this correct?
You are very talented!
Kind regards,

Denise, thanks for your compliments...
My mother is a master crocheter!!! she makes amazing things, I'm not patient like her. I do just small things to use on my CQ blocks. My small hats and boots are perfect things embellishments Victorian style blocks:))
Best wishes from Istanbul,

Rengin, love your crochet basket. How sweet of her to send you a vintage magazine. My mother crochets too, I never did pick it up. After I get my tatting down I may reconsider.

Hi Violette,
My little basket is not too big. The bottom length is only 1". Total height is 3" from the bottom.
Thanks for visiting my block.

I Love your wee crocheted pieces.. perfect for your crazy patch.I do not do much crochet, only small bags and hats for my dolls and I enjoy that. It is enough for me ;-}
