Kathe Wohlfahrt, German ornaments designer!

I always love to visit Kathe Wohlfahrt, world famous designers and seller of German Christmas Gifts and Decor. I'm so glad that we arrived Oberammergau before 6:00p.m. Saturday evening  before Kathe closed and I selected many things to buy in a short time. They have two stores in Oberammegau, I got a chance to visit only one this year I wish I could have more time visit other store as well  to review all those wonderful items, but it is better nothing,:))

Their stores are always wonderful with amazing decorations but Christmas time is always different.

It was a great surprise that they allow customers to take photo this time!  Only one photo per person allowed!

This one is  their biggest store in Oberammergau, but it is closed Sundays...I respect their rules, but I wish they could have special application for the Christmas season, at least they may be open half day every Sunday.
Oberammergau was snowy last week but there was no snow when we arrived there, I wonder if it is snowy in Rothenburg ob der Tauber where Kathe's main store is  located. They have a special Christmas museum there, too. I visited that amazing store spring&summer times, I bet, it must be much more wonderful this time of the year, now.
Season's greetings!

I loved this little glass wreath with  red bow,

This one is also my favorite one that it already took its place on my chandelier instead of tree. I must admit that I scared from our furry boys, they didn't do anything to our tree this year yet but it is better to protect my new ornaments.

I loved this glass poinsietta form  ornament but so sad that it was only one piece in the store, I wish I could have more to make bundle in a decorative plate:(

This is  another adorable piece, glad I have two of them:))  I'll display them with my other angel collection pieces.

Several years ago, I've bought only two small photo frames  from Kathe at my Rothenburg ob der Tauber visit. Only those pieces were available in that summer time. Glad I found those pieces now, my collections has new pieces now:))

Christmas decorations, my lovely cherubs

It is another beautiful time of the year.  I just realized that I didn't share my small happinesses!!! I neglected to take photos of some of my new goodies that I've bought them at my recent trips and I want to share photos of my other pieces that I like  them . I love to collect small objects, especially cherubs from different places. These are from Germany, close-up photo at below show them more better. My new new embroidered table cloth is from Austria. I love Austrian and German handmade embroidery table cloths. But, I must tell you that they are so rare now, most probably they are unable to compete with cheap far east products. So sad that, most probably we won't be able to find handmade items at near future.
This little bell is my daughter's gift, she've brought it from Netherland last year. It is one of my treasure piece.  I love all Villeroy&Boch winter theme products. But, this bell is so precious for me because it is my daughter's gift.
The other cherubs at my chandelier are from Kathe Wohlfahrt. I'm so glad that I've visited its all stores at different places in Germany. They carry amazing Christmas ormanents. Those Rafael figures at my chandelier are from Kathe, too. Its Christmas Museum at Rotthenburg is amazing, it is worth to visit, indeed.
This handmade glass ornament is from Innsbruck, Austria. Our naughty cat broken old ornaments. During our trip in this fall, I went to same place to buy new ones for my daughter who really saddened so much when they were broken. It was shock!!!So sad that there was new store at the same place which was carrying so simple things, cheap far east products.  Coincidentally I found a few old products at another store. We must keep them carefully.
These are my other cherubs and some Capodimontes.  That tea set was given to my parents as a present when they got married at 1957, I'm so glad that my Mam gave it to me when I got married at 1983. I must admit that I don't use it, I prefer to display safely:))  I love capodimontes, I wish I could win a lottery one day, I spend at least its half to buy Capodimontes and Reutter Porzellan....and, of course I spend money to buy embellishments for my passionate interest, Crazy Quilting:))
I was so lucky this year. During our visit to my dream place Oberemmergau, Kathe had sale. I just paid only 5.00 Euro for that trinket with heart, its candle included as well. Isn't it a good price??? Now, I have a small set.
Season's greetings.....

Raffaello Puzzle

After telling about my new "Raffaello puzzle, I wanted to show you my little cherubs that I've bought them from Germany. Kathe Wohlfahrt is a famous Christmas shop in Germany, it has shops at different places that I love to visit at my each travel. Last year I bought these lovely cherubs from Kathe's Rottenburg shop with lots of other things. We realized "Romantic Tour" in last June, we started our journey from Heildelberg, I loved Kathe's that shop, too. Kathe's "Deutsche Weihnachtsmuseum" is at the Rothenburg is a fantastic place, indeed. I also like their Oberammergau and Garmish-Partenkirshen stores as well, because I love Bavaria and awesome Alpine mountains at every possibility.
I would like to share this lovely "Raffaello" image with you. My precious daughter made this 1000 pieces puzzle for me. Its dimensions are 68x48cm. We bought a wooden frame from IKEA . I tried to make its a clear photo but its glass part shines, reflects the shadows. At least this photo should give you an idea about my new gift that I liked so much.
