My Combined Painting Exhibition

As most of you know, I attend an art studio and take painting lessons. We had opening cocktail party of our first combined exhibition at Feb.21th, Saturday. I joined the exhibition with six paintings. My paintings are all acrylics among all other the wonderful oil paintings but I must admit that I got very nice feed backs and compliments during the cocktail that I never expected. I hope I'll be able to open my own exhibition soon. My dear family and friends shared my happiness except my precious daughter. She couldn't come to Istanbul due to bad weather conditions. In this photo, I'm together with my mother in front of my newest painting.

Here is a highlight of my last painting that I've completed last week to display at the exhibition. It is another reproduction with lots of details that seems impossible to make with the acrylic paints but I did it again! It is a reproduction but I never stop to reflect my craziness to put some additions. Have you notice a Christmas tree at the second floor window?

Your painting is beautiful and looks so peaceful. I could see myself walking down that street and looking up to see that Christmas tree. Very nicely done.

Hi all,
Thanks so much for your lovely words related with my new painting.
I was painting during my school years but afterwords I couldn't get a chance to paint till 2007. I'm so glad that I'm back to painting again. I hope I'll be able to have my personal exhibition soon.
Much love,
