I've used this idea, to add a small pearl in mussel in another RR block sometime ago. I repeated it on my block again. I've collected those little sea-shells from Gibraltar, Spain. My husband drilled small holes so I'm able to use them easily.
This is another close-up photo to show my Dad's neck-tie better. The next Light-house looks so neat with the original neck-tie piece.
What a wonderful memento of your dad! I never tire of seeing your beautiful work! I thought of you at the quilt show in Chicago and hope someday you can make it to the USA!
Love the sea shells on your block, how clever to drill holes. I probably wouldn't have any shells left.
Also, I just got tagged by Judy of Stitch Along with Me and am passing "it" on to you if you feel so inclined. I know you have been very busy lately. Hope all is well!
